The planning of the UNM-festival 2024 in Örebro is in full swing and soon we will announce the Swedish participating composers in our channels!
We're the Swedish division of UNM, Ung Nordisk Musik. Our mission is to promote emerging artists from the Nordic countries, by providing a platform in the form of a yearly festival, where we showcase a selection of 1-5 pieces by each country. In 2022, the UNM festival took place in Reykjavík, Iceland. This year UNM will take place in Oslo, Norway between the 14th and 19th of August.

Ung nordisk musik-festivalen is organized by Svenska stiftelsen ung nordisk musik with support from Föreningen svenska tonsättare, Längmanska kulturfonden, Letterstedska föreningen, Helge Ax:son Johnsons stiftelse, Norrbottensmusiken, Region Norrbotten, Svensk-danska kulturfonden, Musikverket, the Swedish Arts Council, Nordic Culture Fund and the Nordic Council of Ministers.
