The planning of the UNM-festival 2024 in Örebro is in full swing and the composers for this year has been announced! Check it out at NEWS.
We're the Swedish division of UNM, Ung Nordisk Musik. Our mission is to promote emerging artists from the Nordic countries, by providing a platform in the form of a yearly festival, where we showcase a selection of 1-5 pieces by each country. In 2022, the UNM festival took place in Reykjavík, Iceland. This year UNM will take place in Oslo, Norway between the 14th and 19th of August.

Ung nordisk musik-festivalen is organized by Svenska stiftelsen ung nordisk musik with support from Föreningen svenska tonsättare, Längmanska kulturfonden, Letterstedska föreningen, Helge Ax:son Johnsons stiftelse, Örebro Municipality, Örebro Regional Council, Länsmusiken i Örebro AB, the Swedish Arts Council, Adolf Lindgrens stiftelse, Nordic Culture Fund and the Nordic Council of Ministers.
